Recognizing the importance of knowing the territory and sharing knowledge of natural values, not only with the scientific community, but also with the community in general, the BioRegisto platform was developed. This is an initiative by the Municipality of Viana do Castelo with a view to promoting the spirit of “Citizen Science” to all audiences, allowing the insertion and consultation of records of biodiversity observations.
